America's Premier Off-Road Racing Series
  1. Robbie Pecorari (@robbiep2681) is a thirty-year old 4x4 Pro class racer from Aston, Pennsylvania. He works long hours during the week at his family’s business (SAI Hydraulics) manufacturing motors and gearboxes for heavy equipment, so that he can take the time off when needed to go compete. Though Robbie has been racing since he was seven, he only started racing quads five years ago, back in 2012. Though his season has been hit-or-miss so far, he has already had at least one major accomplishment. He has put his two biggest sponsors, one a newcomer to the industry and one a veteran, on the 4x4 pro podium for the first time ever. To accommodate busy schedules, I interviewed him via text over the course of about a week.
  2. Round six of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series took place this past weekend, August 19 and 20, in Matthews, Indiana. Hot and humid conditions graced the farmer’s fields throughout the course of the weekend, making for perfect day of racing where Grant Baylor secured another podium finish with third overall.
  3. A Motowoz factory authorized service center is now available in central Ohio. Doug Schiltz has been rebuilding Motowoz shocks since 2010 and was previously the chief mechanic for Root River Racing and pro ATV motocross racer Josh Upperman. Schiltz has building and repairing ATVs and motorcycles for more than 10 years.
  4. Racer Productions is pleased to congratulate six participants of the AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series presented by Maxxis, an AMA National Championship, on their impressive performances at the 36th Annual Rocky Mountain ATV/MC AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship. The world’s largest and most prestigious amateur motocross race took place July 31 through August 5 at the historic Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
  5. Join us in celebrating Ty and show your love for the 1Six Foundation and all the amazing things being done in Ty's name!
  6. With the International Six Days Enduro just a little over a week away, and most of the riders boarding a plane or already in France as we speak, now seemed like a perfect time to talk about the KR4 pro team’s historic moment: all three of KR4’s pro riders were chosen to represent their home country at this year’s ISDE, starting August 28.
  7. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall extends his contact for another two years with the off-road racing team. Duvall has had a successful first season with the team aboard his FX 350. He is currently leading in points for the AMA National Enduro Series and sits in a close second place for the GNCC Racing Series.
  8. Welcome to Quick Fill. It’s been a crazy few weeks for everyone at Racer Productions/MX Sports as we’ve been knee deep in the action at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Last week’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship was one of the best in the 36 year history of the event and this weekend we roll into the final round of the ATV Motocross Series here at Loretta Lynn’s. That makes a long stint on the road for many of us but with a ton of racing action and a venue as cool as Loretta Lynn’s, it makes things more bearable.
  9. It’s hard to miss the KR4 crew at the average GNCC, as there are usually well over 20 riders and two semis with full pit setups at every race. The KR4 organization consists of three levels – a pro team, an amateur team, and of course, the Arrive-N-Ride program, where riders pay for the privilege of being able to show up at the race with nothing more than a gearbag (and maybe not even that) but get a “Factory Rider Experience” – a fully prepped bike, pit crew, a mechanic to help with setup, and best of all, not having to clean the bike or equipment at the end of the race!
